I'm a professional English language teacher and the creator of Sisters Speaking English and the Sisters Speaking Transformation. I'm absolutely passionate about helping women to become confident and fluent speakers of English.

I know exactly how it feels to have learned a language and still be unable to speak it. I studied French for five years at high school but could hardly even order a cup of coffee when I finally got the opportunity to visit France. It was so frustrating!

So here's the thing- it isn't enough to learn the language. You actually have to use it before you'll be able to speak fluently.

How will this help me improve my speaking? Does it really work?

It really is the only way. You can’t develop speaking fluency by watching Youtube videos or studying grammar books. You actually have to speak and get plenty of practice.

Being an active member of Sisters Speaking English will help to improve all aspects of your English fluency. Here, you will find many opportunities to interact with other women from around the world, using English for real communication. There are also opportunities to write, read, speak and listen, on a wide range of interesting topics.

No, I absolutely don't have anything against men! I'm very happily married and have two beautiful adult sons. I also have lots of lovely male friends. Men are great!

But sometimes, we need a space just for women. I created Sisters Speaking English because I could see that it is sometimes very difficult for women to find speaking partners online. Some are not comfortable speaking with unfamiliar men, for cultural, religious, or personal reasons.
